Letter from the Secretary General
Greetings delegates
On behalf of DDMS AMS P. Obul Reddy Public School, it gives me immense pleasure to invite you to YŪGEN 2.0 2022 on 21st and 22nd October 2022. With a motto to Make Diplomacy Matter, our dedicated team of Secretariat and OC members, assisted by our school’s MUN faculty, have been working tirelessly over the past few weeks to ensure that this conference will be the one that you remember for a lifetime.
Model UN has the ability to let students speak up for what they believe in and become involved in the world. And that is what we as hope to do. A spectacular Intra School Youth Conference, this is an excellent platform for you to build your public speaking skills, improve your confidence and take the first step towards change making.
Our team will be backed up by the most lively and experienced Model UN Executive Board members chosen from across the country, who will ensure seamless yet entertaining committee sessions for everyone including those who walk into the committee with little to no knowledge about the proceedings
Here at YŪGEN we are committed to providing the most enriching delegate experience possible. With 4 different committees - United Nations Human Rights Council, UN Disarmament and Security Council, Lok Sabha and International Press - and an expected participation of over 170 delegates we hope that you have not just have fruitful debate over the two days but also a long learning experience that begins from the moment of registration.
